Fox Filmed Entertainment will launch its new young-adult genre division, Fox Atomic, with its first acquisition, John Stockwell's horror feature Turistas, produced by 2929 Productions. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Josh Duhamel, Melissa George and Olivia Wilde star in the tale of college-age backpackers who embark on a dream vacation along the Brazilian coast. After an accident leaves them stranded, they discover a beachside bar filled with revelers, only to end up drugged by the locals and two of them kidnapped. | Unfortunately, the role of Vesper Lynd in the new 007 movie has gone to Eva Green. :( Too bad, we really wanted Olivia to have this, it would have been a great breakthrough role for her. However, she has many many new movies coming out this year so this is certainly not the end of the world. She'll do awesome in her new projects, and there are certainly many new oppurtunities to come! | |

Bickford Shmeckler’s Cool Ideas is scheduled to have its World Premiere at the 2006 SXSW Film Festival, it looks like Conversations With Other Women will also be screening there.
