Hear How Olivia Wilde Cheated Death to Make It to the Cowboys & Aliens Premiere

Looking glam-tastic in Dolce & Gabbana on the Comic-Con red carpet for Cowboys & Aliens, it’s hard to imagine the film’s premiere without Olivia Wilde.

Needless to say she had the fanboys drooling as she made her way into the show to talk with Ben Lyons and Catt Sadler. And you can believe they were hanging on her every word…

Shockingly, we learned we should consider ourselves lucky Wilde even made it tonight. According to the stunning actress, who says she was nearly trampled to death during one harrowing sequence of the filming. Find out which of her costars saved her life, why this flick is her “favorite thing I’ve ever done” and what she loves about Comic-Con. (Hint: everything).

‘Cowboys & Aliens’ stars to walk red carpet at Comic-Con

Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford and Olivia Wilde are scheduled to walk the red carpet at San Diego’s Civic Theatre downtown as “Cowboys & Aliens” makes its world premiere at Comic-Con on July 23. The movie, directed by Jon Favreau, will debut nationwide the next week.

The red carpet begins at 7 p.m. and the movie at 8. No tickets are available to the general public, although 2,000 fans from Comic-Con will be able to attend.

“I owe the fans at Comic-Con so much, and it is only right that they are the first people who will get to see ‘Cowboys & Aliens,’” Favreau said in a statement. “By bringing the world premiere of the movie to San Diego, it’s my small way of thanking them.”

Olivia Wilde To Be Honored At Maui Film Festival

Hawaii is about to get wild—Olivia Wilde, that is.

I can exclusively reveal that Ms. Wilde will receive the Female Shining Star Award at next month’s Maui Film Festival.

The festival kicks off June 15. Wilde’s award presentation will include a screening of Sun City Picture House, a short produced by Wilde and Maria Bello about the building of a movie theater in earthquake-ridden Haiti.

Olivia Wilde will next be seen opposite Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford in director Jon Favreau’s fantasy-action flick Cowboys & Aliens. Zac Efron, Jake Gyllenhaal, Claire Danes and Adrien Brody are among the festival’s previous young Hollywood award winners.

And like last year, I’ll be returning to Maui to sit down and chat with Olivia and all the other celebrity festival-goers (more names should be announced any day now) to give ya the scoop throughout the festival.
